Carolyn Carlson, eterna “doamnă a apei”,întrupează dansul pur şi unic ca expresie a mişcării apei în metamorfoza sa infinită. În sunetul valurilor, coregrafa se cufundă în fluiditatea ei, în prezenţa ei intensă şi în adâncurile ei de nepătruns.
Evocând piesa eau, în întregime dedicată temei sale predilecte, ea îi oferă publicului o viziune fascinantă a dansului condus de forţa vitală a acestui element natural.
Ardere
Un solo despre metamorfozele din fiecare etapă a vieţii, piesa Ardere conduce spectatorul într-o călătorie contemplativă spre acele lucruri pe care trebuie să le „ardem” în noi, pentru a putea merge mai departe.
Omul căzut prin timp şi pierderi regăseşte o sămânţă de foc
Arzând iluminarea interioară, reînvie copilul
Se luminează umbrele
Focuri în fântână
Apă în sânge

Li
„Li” este o ideogramă care desemnează la origine
grăuntele din jad sau din lemn,
„motivul organic” de la baza tuturor lucrurilor,
când fiinţa se află în acord cu „tao”.

Dualitatea lui yin şi yang
Când unul devine celălalt

Immersion
Carolyn Carlson, the eternal “water lady”, embodies pure and unique dance like an expression of the continually metamorphosing movement of water. To the sound of waves, the choreographer immerses herself in its fluidity, its intense presence and its unfathomable depths.
Echoing the piece eau, which is entirely dedicated to her favourite theme, she offers the audience a fascinating vision of dance driven by the life force of this natural element.
Burning
A solo dealing with the metamorphoses that happen in each step of life, Burning leads the spectator to a contemplative journey towards those things we have to "burn" inside ourselves in order to let go.
Falling man through time and loss regains a seed of fire
burning inner illumination recovers the child
lights the shadows
fires in the well

Li
“Li” is an ideogram which referred originally
to the grain in jade and wood,
the “organic pattern” in the principle of all things,
when one is in accord with the “Tao”.
The watercourse of nature
The flowing of Wind
The dark and the light
The polarity of yin and yang
Becoming what one is the other
Without verbal comment.
